My description: I am very lucky in that my life has been incredibly joyful, exciting, and meaningful. I am very happy with life, and people close to me call me patient, loving, intelligent, funny, and compassionate. I have lived in the rural southern Rockies for most of my adult life and i am happy to call Taos, NM home. I spend a few months each year in the NY area visiting my family and working. I am definately a tree hugging granola eater but have a lot of diverse spiritual and intellectual interests. Not rushing but I am looking for a partner and eventually kids.
I spend much my free time hiking, skiing, soaking in hot springs, mountain biking, practicing yoga, traveling (often to latin countries- I speak spanish) petting my cat, listening to audiobooks, sea kayaking, cooking vegan organic food, and generally enjoying life. I teach skiing and outdoor education to children part of the year and operate a small online store year-round. I believe the purpose of life is to be as loving, honest, and kind as we can to ourselves and to eachother.
Seeking: If you are kind-hearted, nurturing, and patient, if you love yourself and your friends and your family and all beings and the earth, then we could at least be friends and possibly more. I'm not really seeking anyone to "make me happy" because I am happy already. I am looking to share the happiness i already feel. If you are someone that truly believes that life is a wonderful gift and strives each day to use it wisely, that is energetic and spontaneous - someone that lives life to it's fullest and loves seeing and doing new things, but also enjoys quiet and peaceful moments, then we'll get along well. I am in no rush but would like to eventually get married and start a family.
