My description: After growing up in Florida and teaching school in Bush Alaska, I'm now retired, divorced, and living in the beautiful Matanuska-Susitna Valley of southcentral Alaska. I love kids, animals, my family, most adults, music, nature, quiet alone time, and myself. I have four grown kids, eight grandchildren, one dog, two cats and lots of friends. I am positive, friendly, caring, and giving. I'm also intelligent, capable, creative and financially independent. I love to sing, and I'm in both a 4-part-hamony barbershop quartet and a chorus. I enjoy reading, walking, cooking, volunteering, puzzles, sewing, knitting, watching a good movie, and spending quality time with my family and friends.
Seeking: I'm looking for a man who enjoys life and has a positive attitude. He is flexible, generous, happy and loving. If he's not willing to live in Alaska part of the time, he at least will want to visit here regularly. He is a lifelong learner who enjoys exercising his mind as well as his body. He loves all beings and his actions are examples of his beliefs.
