I'm a grad student, about to finish my doctorate in Biology, and kind of a minimalist. I have a crazy yellow labrador retriever, no car, two bikes (one fancy and one not so much), a chocolate addiction and an increasingly obvious caffeine habit. I have recently completed my first half ironman and am preparing for my fourth marathon. I love being outdoors, in the woods, in the water, on the road. I am a movie snob and passionate about science and am kind of a nerdy know-it-all at times. Rather stubborn, too, and often difficult. But I compensate for that by being a loving, giving person and I'm up for enjoying life in every way. Also love music, play guitar (poorly), sing (spontaneously) and dance (horribly, and only after several drinks). I like hugs and cuddling. Also, Stephen King, Xena and British murder mystery shows (Poirot, Miss Marple, Midsomer Murders and the like).
