I'm a 59 year old, single, professional. I am overeducated - a PhD in Psychology and an OD in Optometry. I came to Worcesyearning 2010 as the dean of humanities & soc sciences. (one of my left over '60s friends). I think of myself as ethical and moral (though my morality might be considered non-standard), spiritual, smart and educated (2 different things), and relatively life competent. I gotta come clean - I'm really more of a locavore and paleo gal than a vegan or vegetarian although most of my meals are vegan/macrobiotic. Casa de Luz is my second-home. When I eat animal products, I eat only those sourced from humanely raised, local animals that eat what they're supposed to eat. I treat my mind and body with great respect and like to surround myself with others that do the same. My favorite things to do after traveling are sitting under the pecans at Barton Springs, eating well, practicing yoga, dancing and connecting deeply with others but I also really enjoy film and literature that delve into the parts of humanity that we typically obscure from view. At 15 I read " Why Meat on the Menu? " a pamphlet put out by the Seventh Day Adventist. this was my first attempt. In college I meet my first girl friend, She happened to be a Hare Krishna Devotee. I have been a vegetarian since, that was 1983. The last year I have been on a raw vegan regime, void of salt, sugar, and gluten.

I've befriended a young man whose been practicing Taoist techniques for longevity approaching 8 years now. In mutual developmental understanding
a group of us approached the wisdom of "Raw".

to postulate: IF; "we are what we eat" why would the sane ingest dead matter?

My meditation is to consume only raw unprocessed fresh organic fruits and vegetables and sprouting my legumes and quinoa.

 I am purchasing 2.5 acres in South Belen. The property rest along side the old Jarles irrigation ditch from which I am allowed to draw water.

The acreage has a newer double wide modular home a fixed to a footing, there are two accompaning out buildings for equipment and storage.

The property is fenced with steel pipe.

I purchased this plot to house my Yaks and start a perma culture vegetarian commune.

I have choosen the Name Cottonwood Commune.

Sandbags are on order and once arrived will be used to construct a super adobe shelter.

actually i don't know what to write here... I like meeting new people :) sharing interests .. i love cooking and baking ( not a pro) , travelling, photography..

i've been a vegetarian at age 8 so that makes me being one 15 years? i'm also a Taoist, trying to find balance in my life everyday and not letting other influence me in being who i am :)

I've been mostly macrobiotic since 1965.  I've been married twice and have two daughters from my first wife and they are both married and both live in Portland OR and have a grandson from my youngest girl.  I moved to Libby Montana in 1996 and started a business which I am now working to close so I can be retired.  I am looking for love first and all else second.  I love to travel mostly in all the west coast area.  I am thinking about building a custom Teardrop trailer to be pulled by my Jeep.  If your high maintence we'll have to use your money. LOL.   I've been a tinker most all my life and also a cook and baker since I was 12 and have owned two bakeries among other businesses so I can take care of business.  Learned many trades over the years but they are mostly hobbies now.  I've been alone for a long time and I hope it's not to late to find real love again.  Young at heart and am a habitual raconteur when given the chance.  I feel that if we have love everything else will fall into place.  I think organic at the store and can cook many styles as you like it. I have been alone way too long and may be a bit slow getting started again but my goal to to be married ( with or without the paperwork ) one last time.  The plan is mostly up to you as I don't make demands other than to love and be loved in return.
