I recently heard the average couple spends 10 minutes a day in communication. Really...10 minutes? All-righty then, I'm not seeking average! I bought a house this year. That has been fun! Buying new things, searching for special pieces and finding them every now and then. I just had 3 days at Tanglewood listening to James Taylor and Carole King. I had a chance to meet with them each day and I had a ball. And I plan on taking some time off in a few weeks to do some extensive landscape work at my place. I'm really excited about the chance to make the yard a very special place. I may even rescue some chickens and a goat or two. One thing I really appreciate about this site is it is geared towards someone who eats a plant based diet. For me, being in a relationship with someone who is veggie or vegan is extremely important. It says a lot about you, your values, and your heart.

I relocated to New York last fall from Austin TX, which according to the locals here is the backwards way to do things (seems everyone is moving there). I have been a "professional musician" for over a decade, as well as owned several of my own businesses. I have been Vegan now for close to 21 years, have strong beliefs in my diet and animal rights / ending cruelty, and my spiritual practice. I am responsible, and I live clean. I enjoy walks, bike rides, rain, afternoon naps, live music, and great books. I love to cook, but don't presently have a big enough kitchen to accommodate much. Online dating sounds great for me because I work from home and spend a fair amount of time meditating at a Zen Buddhist center. Therefore I don't get out as often as I would like to try to meet new people. I am also fairly new to LA and its not easy meeting people in this town. The things I'm really into: cycling, spirituality, healthy vegetarian eating (hopefully moving towards raw, with your help!) and cooking, the great outdoors, music, art and design. I am a painter, musician and designer and love the creative process.

Some things about me in no particular order; I've got the best friends and family anyone could hope for. I've lived in nyc for 21 years and I love it as much as I ever have.
