It'a great to find this site because It can be difficult to find like-minded people. I have always been health conscious but didn't become a vegan until I met someone who practiced Chinese medicine. He taught me lifestyle is key to whether you will be healthy or plagued with disease. It has helped me understand spiritual things better too. I'm no longer biased about religion but encourage more of a unity consciousness. I think we put too many labels on things and think it's the truth. If we can go within ourselves instead of externalizing everything, that's where truth lies. I think that's the true message behind Christianity or Buddhism. I have started riding my bicycle to work, I use CFL bulbs in my house and keep my brand new A/C not very cold and still use window fans when I can. I often forget to water my lawn but don't really care that much anyway. I do make sure however to water my strawberry patch though! Yum! Next year is going to be even better!
