well, i'm kind of an artistic creative type and i'm usually attracted to the same. i'd much rather spend my spare time making something with my hands than reading a book. i tend to be kind of introverted in big group settings, but i love them....i'm a big fan of people watching. that being said, i'm all for going to parties, bars, shows, etc, but i can also be a homebody. i get very excited at the thought of being snowed in for a weekend...especially if the right person is there to keep me company:) i grew up near the ocean, so i'm usually most happy when there's water near by (though i'm still scared of the ocean-go figure). but having gone to college in VT, i have a great appreciation and love for the mountains and snow. i get just as excited about a weekend camping trip as i do a day in NYC. i've been veggie/veganish for about 10 years, all for the animals. i'm working at a vet hospital right now, which means that i'll probably be paying off my student loans forever, but i love being around animals all day so it's worth it.

A cool phrase I recently read said 'pain is inevitable, suffering is not'. I appreciate Buddhist philosophy, but I'm not a Buddhist. I do my best to always be learning new things. To describe myself in 3 words, I'd use compassionate, understanding, and delusionally optimistic. I've been a Vegetarian for over 2 and a half years now with no regrets.
