I became a raw vegan July 20, 2009. The goal is to grow all food instead of buying it from the grocery store. This past summer (2010) I grew at least half of the food I consumed. I'm open to a lot of new things. My hobbies include dancing, games, and food. I studied dance in college and currently taking daily ballroom lessons. I've found that a lot of the lessons about art and creativity in movement can be applied/appreciated in almost all other creative media. In the games department, you name it, I'll try it. Favorites include chess, Scrabble, bridge/spades, and Starcraft. When it comes to food I can be pretty picky, but I make a mean smoothie. Cooking has become a favorite activity when I can fit it in, and from small quick meals to vegan stuffed ravioli (which takes a WHILE if it's the first time you've handmade pasta), I love every moment. Living in the midwest is challenging, I find, when it comes to finding good vegetarian fare. I am active everyday. I do yoga everyday and walk each morning.
