Ok, let's get started. Maybe I should talk about my hobbies? The word "hobby" makes me think of someone building a ship in a bottle. Or re-creating battles from the civil war. It involves glue guns, muskets, and weekend trips to Michael's. Unless it's Halloween, or Easter, or there's a school project for my kids, I don't do a lot of that. Maybe we can call "sports" a hobby. It seems like it should get it's own category. Let's go with that. I like sports. Moreover, I like being active. Hiking (living on the North Shore is great!), biking, boxing, snowboarding - you name it. If you like something I've never tried - GREAT! I might find a new favourite thing.
I like to take care of myself - good food, exercise, keeping mentally nimble, fresh air, etc. It keeps me youthful inside and out. I don't feel like a man in his 40's. Except for the maturity and wisdom part. So very wise. Like an owl. An un-feathered, restricted-neck-motioned, owl.
I have two fantastic children. They are not babies/toddlers or teens. They live with me half of the time. I enjoy a great relationship with their mother that allows both of us flexibility for work and travel. It's the perfect balance of family fun and flexibility. I am a lucky guy and I know it.

I love music (most kinds with my focus usually on indie rock), movies, history, cool shops with neat junk, sunshine, the smell of the ocean, road trips. I have recently embarked on a journey as a raw vegan 50 days ago. I originally planned for 30 but it was such an easy and enjoyable transition for me that I cannot ever imagine going back. It would be nice to find someone with the same interests. I currently manage youth addictions facilities and I also own a personal training business. I'm not exactly sure why I've become lazy, but some of the hypotheses I've come up with include: 1. having to go to the same school as my high school classmates who give me a pitying look every time I pass by them in the hallway, which I find severely irritating 2. I never know what marks other students in the class are getting, so my competitive drive isn't triggered. That's why you need to brag to me about how good your grades are! I have been vegan for three years now. It was an incredibly easy life change for me but one which came with huge rewards. I see the world more clearly now and I am a much healthier person. I am transitioning into raw foodism/fruitarianism. I love the bicycle. All bicycles. I consider it to be the number 1 way to get around. I cycle year round through all types of conditions. Last summer I bicycled with my sister from Vancouver to Montreal. It was an epic trip and I plan on having oodles more. I am an unmaterialistic person. I don't like "stuff". Stuff hampers my ability to move about freely. Yoga. Nude Bathing. Reading. Picnics. Swimming. Camping. Last week I tried a Durian for the first time ever. My conclusion: They are amazing!
