I am very passionate about animal rights and vegetarianism... perhaps myabe too passionate... to the extent that it's possibly had negative effects on my sanity from time to time. I've often struggled to understand why the ability to sustain one's own life without it requiring the death of other sentient beings seems to have so little appeal to the vast majority of people.
The things that make me happy are simple; long summer evenings, thunderstorms, amazing vegan food, classical music, exercise, mountains, streams, and yes, love... and as cheesy as it sounds, all of these things quickly propel me into a state of euphoria. As an aside I'm just in the process of converting my Jetta to run off of used veggie oil, and so I'm really exited for all the possibilities for cheap and eco-friendly exploration that this creates.
I've come to realization in the last year or so, that in order for me to be content I must always be actively pursuing and promoting my ideals in someway or another. Now it's just a matter of seeing where that leads me.
